bucket seats

   just got hold of a pair off omp bucket seat and sub frames but what do i do with the airbag lead underneath will the light stay on when i disconnect it if so i think that will fail my MOT if im right??

   yes the airbag light will stay on, and it is an mot fail if lit.
   you could either : -
   - buy two 1.6 resistors from a place like maplins or other electrical shops and insert one into each of the clips
   - remove the bulb from the dash
   - or put some black tape on the inside of your dash covering the air bag light.

   i think i might just get the 1.6 resistors as im not confidence to start riping out the dash dials

   or disconnect the airbag ecu,
   its between the gear lever and the engine(under the dash)

   yes but doesn't this turn off the airbag completely?
   fit resistors and the airbag will still go off in the event of a crash.

   i try that too do i just trace the wire under the seat and will i find it then

   yes it does stop the airbag system from working
