oil filter

   i have just purchased an oil filter for my 1.1 wreg saxo, however now looking at the my engine it looks like its the wrong filter???
   
   the one on the engine is at the front and looks like a turny off one, however the purchased 1 from the shop is a naked filter with a rubber ring as if it is suppose to fit inside something??
   
   have i got the wrong filter?

   The one you got is right - your one is the paper element inside the casing. All you need to do is unscrew the casing and replace the dirty one with your new one. Dont forget to replace the rubber seal around it which is supplied.
