   what do you wire them up to so the LED's come on?

   can be either connected to the cigarette lighter, or centre console heater controls back light.
   that way they come on with side lights or can put in a switch.

   i had one of them and it ran on batterys for about 2 weeks and the fell apart lol but was only a cheep one from halfucks

   yeah i had that same problem, didn't want one that relied on batteries but managed to find mine on ebay from germany uses two wires to connect to the car electrical system.

   ok sounds good but wont the wires start getting in the way? and when you do it but it in the furthest away gear lol could cause problems if its to tight pmsl

   no the gear knob came with enough wire to reach under the centre console and into the dash.

    ahh thats alright u might even be able to but it down the gear stick sleeve so u cant see the wire

    that's what i did, no wires are visible at all
