mk1 and mk2 fans the same?

   vtr mk1 and mk2 fans the same?
   anyone know?

   wouldnt make a difference, there all the same size of engines so presumably all the same fans.

   Nope, mk2 Vtr after 2001 (98bhp engine) have the fan on the other side of the radiator.

   if i got a rad and fan out a mk2, make any difference?

   They are different sizes and shapes bud, not sure they are backwards compatible?

   different from what i have noticed between my mk1 and mk2, fan is between the rad and bumper on the mk2, think it would still fit and work though as the rad is the same. mk2 have a complete plastic unit and mk1 is just the fan with 3 brackets that hold it on.

   just make sure u get the big plastic one rather than the skinny one that goes behind rad
