Full Respray Price

   Just been qouted to have my car fully resprayed the same colour, remove al dints and scratches, gloss black the bumper strips, mesh grill on front, debadged rear. For 600 quid i think thats a bargain!
   
   Anyone had it done cheaper?

   also have the locks smoothed off and have remote central locking fitted included

   Cheap paint jobs arent necessarily good paint jobs buddy.

   this company is very good, they do alot of work on cars like bentlys and range rovers etc. He sed we rarely do little cars?

   sounds cheap, the only advice i can give is you get what you have paid for, for a very good paint job id expect to pay anything from 1700-3.5k

   ive seen some of there other work and it looks really good, he sed the paint isnt expensive for my car aswell

   Want mine re painted but a different colour...satin white!

   Paint is never expensive in relation to labour. Labour is what gives you a good looking car, not the price of paint.

   Paint is cheap......its the prep work that costs alot of money.
   
   All i will say is my paintjob is perfect and it cost a lot more than £600.

    its on condercome road just off the west road in newcastle mate, wen i get home tonight il post the number for u, ring him hel give u a rough estimate on the fone and then you can go see him and hel give u a proper quote!

    well just have to see, im willing to risk it, even if the paint job isnt fantastic, it will look better than the heap of shite looks nw, and if its "perfect" hes probably gonna get alot more saxos going there for resprays lol

    Thats really cheap.
    As others have said, paint isn't expensive, I usually pay around £40-55 per lt depending on if its solid, metallic or pearl, and it would probably take around 2.5-3lt to do a Saxo. Plus the lacquer, which is around £50 for 5lt.
    So you're going to be paying roughly £500 labour, which seems cheap for saying how long it takes to mask out a car, let alone fill dents and that.
