Smoking my Headlights

   Hi all,
   
   I've decided to smoke the headlights on my Wicked Red VTR, it looks great and is much cheaper than black angel eye headlights. Just a question though, what black would you recommend using....gloss black? I've read cases where people have used satin black as well.
   
   Also, if I was to replace the standard bulbs with Xenon ones, would my headlights be much brighter, and are xenon bulbs legit (not planning to do full xenon/HID headlight conversion, just replacing bulbs)?

   Has anyone sprayed the mask the same colour as the car?
   
   Wicked red car with Wicked red inserts?
   
   Someone should do this, possibly use a sprare light to mess around with, could do diff designs on them

   Just spray mine gloss black last weekend,
   Laquer seems to be debatable tho, depends what look u want i guess.

   i think it was chrisrichvtr that did the mask same colour as the car his was wicked red i will see if i can find the thread

   Yea theres a thread on here with sum1 who sprayed the entire light (reflectors and all) silver.
   made em look dim lol

   ive yet to see this look good on a car, why not go for black angels or the moulded kind similar to 206gti in black

   ive used satin black on mine, i think its the best out of matt, satin and gloss as it matches the shade of the bumpsrips very nicely.
   
   also angel eyes use satin black
