Bonet wont close properly...

   Been to close the bonet today, tried over 20 times and it wont close, it locks into place, but wont actually close fully and i cant seem to find why,
   any suggestions?

   Not left any tools or equipent on the side sills or near the bonnet catch??? Is the release handle pushed back??

   Nope, nothing anywhere near it, and the release handle is pushed back, it looks to be the mechanism where it locks the bonnet, any suggestions to that?
