I'm not being serious but..

How much "go power" could you get out of a 1.1.

Money no object, I'm obviously not going to do it just interested on what you'd need to do.

    Exchange the French 1.1l for a Japanese 1.1L. From a CBR1100

If you're not being serious, then neither am I

    Turbo'd - been done.

doesn't someone on here have a turbo 1.1?

Naturally you're looking at what, 80bhp if youre lucky? thats if you can find cams, get it remapped, find a manifold that fits, etc etc. theres not any tuning stuff for a 1.1 to be honest as they're really not worth doing anything to

it's a 1.1,so if you fit forged pistons and rods, steel HG, 1.5bar of boost and you'll get around 180-200bhp if you keep the intake temps down.

i bet doing that has a price tag thouh
  7. #7
pistons 400, rods 400, HG 100? then a turbo conversion, I guess £2000 for the turbo conversion if you fit it yourself?

    So £3000 or so?

im sure it would be easy to find parts to modify it, the blacks are all the same i cant see why you couldnt buy a cam for it also a manifold thats fits a vts would fit a 1.1 etc
if i had one i would fit
    s1 rallye head
    s1 rallye inlet
ph2 cam(not sure if you would use this with the tubro)
    forged internals
    turbo kit
    stand alone management

as long as it was regularly serviced wasn't running stupidly high boost and the fitting of everything was done professionally cant see why it wouldn't be reliable, my mate turbo'd his 1.0 chinqachento and fitted abarth brakes and suspension was pretty cool hang on ill find some pics lol

    EDIT:

doesn't sound too bad considering you could have near 200bhp

Doubt you'd get anywhere near 200bhp to be fair, 150 maybe with alot of money.
