Important! : vibrating??

   driving along normaly and i heared a pop like when you run over a stone, since then when on tickover the car really vibrates and it feels like the revs dont drop as quick as normal. i have had a look in the engine bay and it all seems fine, cant see any problems with engine mounts but the left of the engine has a bit of play (cam belt side)
   how do you check if the engine mount is gone?

   also a mate thinks its idling lower than normal if this makes a difference?

   mine idles at 950 ish if thats any good to you, I have a VTS though although i dont think that would make much difference

   The engine mount on the cambelt side is under the ECU tray. Take that off and check the mount, on a VTS there are two bolts that mount to the shell either side of the rubber mount and there is an alloy arm that extends across to the rear of the block with 4 T50 bolts. Check all of that if the play is on that side of the engine. How much play is there?

   not stupid amounts but i can push the engine about 2 inches front and back with a good push
