Oil cooler question

    The 2x pipes going into oil cooler. Are these water pipes and where do they get their feed from if they are?*

    They are for coolant to pass through. Bit daft really, as coolant can't be used to cool the oil as the coolant gets hot as well.

    thats because its not an oil cooler its a heat exchanger.

    It helps bring the oil up to operating temperature as standard.

    A seperate oil cooler has nothing to do with the coolant system.
