Important! : Saxo VTS PAS

   Hey guys, right i have a 2001 VTS and the PAS has totally gone. My heater and rear window de mister still work so i ruled out a relay problem. This was an on, off problem to begin with then the PAS just didn't work at all. I have just changed the electric power steering pump (didn't get a new one, got it off ebay), and the PAS still doesn't work. I'm at a loss, can anyone help?

   Is the fluid at the correct level?

   Yeah the fluid level is fine

   Mines just done this today. Cant even do a 3 point turn. Fucking great. As it was read to sell aswell!! One thing after a fuckin other!

   I'd confirm that you're getting electricity to the PAS pump firstly...
   
   so do the easy things, check the engine bay fuse box, fuse is F4... If it was on/off/on for a while chances are it could have had a current spike flicking between off and on and popped the fuse.
   
   If yes then ensure electricity is getting to the pump itself.
   
   If yes then.... I haven't got a clue apart from try another pump

   How do you check if the fuse has blown though and electricity is getting to the pump?
