Saxo performance

   hi i have a 1999 saxo vtr standard but for some reason it does not run like a saxo i keep gettin smoked off at the lights by 1.1 an stuff an was wondering if enyone knew what could be the problem with the car ? i have searched all over the net for a reason an there is nothin the car has done 126k of miles an i am sure thats not the problem with it please help

   Welcome to Sax-P, And is it defo a VTR and not a 1.1 modded to look like one?

   nope everything runs fine on it thats why i dont understand why its running slow

   o an i just changed the sprak plugs to see if that would help an still no improvement

   Could just be driver error
   
   Plus 1.1 gearboxs have a shorter ratio so they would be ever so slighty quicker of the line...
   
   oh and street racing aint cool yo!

   no but my mate has the same year vtr same car clour etc an his runs alot faster then mine an its really p***in me off lol

   in 126k miles its bound to have lost some power mate. give it a FULL service and then see

    could b a collapsed exhaust internally mate, ma vts had lost loads of power due to that..take it to a garage they will know straight away if its that, was just a new cat that i needed hope this helps you mate i know wot your going through lol
