heating, thermostat??

    when starting the car from cold it takes ages to at least just get hot. it just gets to the white bit but wont actully go into it. but if left on tick over it will get hot but will take like 15 mins?? and when driving it just goes cold agen.. cant work it out does anyone know wot it cold be???

    It could be an air lock or as you stated thermostat or even a lack of one. You can test your thermostat by removing it and testing it be submerging the thermostat in boiling water and watching for the spring moving.

    yeah the heater hadly gives out hot air aswell..
