Quick cambelt query

Was looking at a timing belt kit for my mk2 VTR:

    http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Ci...ac94bc078&TBLK

One is £85 and the other is £35. They are both made by ContiTech so why the price difference of £50?
Also, how much should a local garage charge to get the kit fitted if i supplied?
    any help appreciated

I have been informed that garages charge around £100 onwards for doing the job. If you have a bit of technical knowldge, a reasonable toolkit and common sense (also a Haynes manual) then the job can be done by you for nothing except the satisfaction that you did it.

the difference between those is that 1 kit is for the 16v vts which is the more expensive 1 and the other is for the 8v vtr.

When I replaced my cambelt I went for a Gates' timing belt kit, can't really go wrong with those (assuming you fit it right of course )

    I bought this one:
