16v conversion!

    alryt people!!!

    ive been thinking about a 16v conversion for a while now ( well for the last 10 hours at work haha!) and decided its what i want!
    im just wondering how much i should be expecting to pay for the whole lot, including geting it fitted?

    there was a garager that used to advertise on here and they did a drive in with a vtr and they would supply and fit a vts engine for £700 i think it was.

    apparently it is really straight forward and loads of people on here have said they will do the work for £200 if you supply the bits as it can be done in a day.

    ive been thinking of getting another vtr till i get another years no claims then having a conversion done.

    Thats really useful thanks mate, i have a 2000 vtr and was thinking about a conversion but didnt really know a basic guide price. Do you reckon that its worth it for the power gain or is there somthing else i could do with that sort of dosh.
