What led you to believe it was a spiked ECU? Have you had a diagnostics test done?

Does the diagnostics test check the coil pack itself?

it ticks over and runs for like 5 seconds and dies.....been told it could be map sensor or even the wiring behind engine..not 100% tho

I thought the MAP sensor was read during a diagnostics test. Is it was reading then it is probably working fine.
