Drivers Side Door Skin

   Hi guys first time ive posted so hello to all first
   
   Some little scrotes recently broke into my car and proper ruined the metal work around my door lock. Basically they jammed a screwdriver through the door skin to bypass the lock and pop the pin up.
   
   Ive been looking around for door skins and found some for sale but i just wondered if any one had removed their door skin to replace it and if so is it an easy task, is there a potential for making things worse?

   would be easier findind a second hand door in same colour,then just fit it and your away mate.
