Ok here is the story.
So car has been sitting on the drive for a month now due to it failing the emissions test and needing a new cat.
After sorting out my uni stuff which had priority, i finally come round to getting my baby back on the road. My car was registered just after the time when cars needed a approved cat and these are twice as expensive as the once which don't. I'm looking at £100 for the cat. I finally got enough to buy one and I went to the local autofactors and they don't have my cat on record at all.
It's pissed me off to the extreme. The only approved cat for a vtr is in the manifold and I require the ones underneath the car.
So what I ask for is someone to give me the registration of their car which doesn't require an approved cat so that I can get hold of one.
My car:
51 plate 1.6i, 8v.
Cat is under the car, not in manifold. Preferably to be an 01 so they will be the same as mine.
I will give whoever £20, that's a promise.
