im thinking of putting one of these in the car, and i thought that the control for it could be in the wiper stalk where my rear wiper is (as my car is de-wipered). just wondering where anyone who has one has mounted the control for it? cheers

#3im pretty sure theres 2 wires, the positive and negative, from the wiper motor. just stick them to the boot popper, install that as you would. bish, bash bosh.
im not too sure about the current though, might be a bit much? -
#4i was thinking this the other day actually !!!! wounder if it would work try it mate and message me and let me know how it goes
-
#5this would work as my mate did this too his car but cant remember how he did it though

#8How do you wire it up to open then, my boot is dewipered and I have spare wiring from the engine motor.
Do these wires have a constant current when on? - As in for example I could add a lighting circuit and that'd switch on when I have the Rear wiper control on? -
#9id imagine it would have constant current when you switch it on yeah, you would just have to remember to turn it off
-
#10Haha I might try it, I had some bodge neon lights from my first car..
see if that'd work because it would be much tidier than what I had to begin with the interior having a large set of wires -
#11yeah let me know how you get on

#14i did mine with the central locking motor, not ideal but it worked, thing is i didnt get my head around how it would recoil so it just opened it and thats it, i cut a bit of plastic out of the inner boot trim to get my finger in to pull the latch back though
ill get some pictures up later -
#15i did this with mine, i ran a wire to the plug that controlled my rear wiper (removed like yours) all i do is turn ignition on twist rear wiper control and hey presto, works a lot better than the button i initially wired up into my ashtray
-
