Just out of interest, what are they called?
    Are they standard?

Indeed, Subarus run Boxer engines, but the way you get the classic rumble from the exhaust is basically by decatting the exhaust and generally putting a much larger bore exhaust system on the car.
    I agree, they sound lush.

When i used to have my powerflow on my saxo it sounded like a scoob. when it dropped down to 2k it used to bubble more than a subaru & would bang all the time

subarus sound like they do, because the engine is a flat four, meaning the pistons go side to side instead of up and down buddy. they do sound nice dont they.

subaru's sound like they do because of uneven length headers, when i put equal length headers on my classic is sounded shit so i changed them back again lol
speaking of which if anyone is intersted in a my2000 clasic in mica blue with 18" deep dish wheels let me know lol

dont they have like a 3inch + bore to it
my mates got a scooby exhaust on his vtec some how can hear it from a mile away and sounds amazing

lol it has nowt to do with how big the bore is or what back box is on it. its the uneven lentgh of the runners on the headers and aslong a i have a hole in my arse no car will sound like a scooby just by putting a scooby back box on
why does a porsche not sound like a scooby? they have the boxer engine in
