hey, not too sure weather im writing this is in the right place like but anyways..

owned a vtr for quite a long time and had a rest from saxos for about a year now but looking to buy myself a vts over summer, just wondering if someone could give me an idea on how much i should be spending? and also what kind of mileage i should be looking at? not too sure how these engines are in high mileage?

    thanks kev

look for service history stamped books and mainly when last cambelt changed, also basic stuff look of car worn interior rusted door hinges, about price all depending on how car has been maintained

mk1 i would pay no more the 1,500 and mk2 2 to 2,500 for half decent one. and just check tyre wear for tracking problems, check for rush under the car and in the engine bay.

Depends how they well they were looked after, buy one of an aop, then you know it wouldn't have been ragged

be hard to find a decent one for that price, mk2 vts's range from £2000-£3000, very good examples can even go for more

no shit, quite a bit that, one of the reasons i was looking towards getting one with higher mileage, so price will be a lot less.. just weather its worth taking the risk on something that may die
