grill badge removal

   want to remove my pointy things on grill lol so caint paint and put back on thought would ask before removeng without a clue.best ask first thanks in advance guys

   I'm pretty certain the chevrons are fixed on and won't come off without being broken. I could be wrong though?

   No they are just clipped on, push them out and make sure not to brake the clips on the bottom edges of them

   Ah sorry for the false information Jaytay. Not something i've tried tbh but looking at mine it looks like they wouldn't come off!!

   They can come out at any time, no need to remove the grill. Take a flat screw driver and prise the chevron outward, once you have it out a little, force the screwdriver behind the chevron gently and it will pop out, then do the same for the other side. There are 2 clips per chevron and a locator pin at the top.

   shit really how av others painted em and put bk on unless they av snapped em then glued em didnt want em snapping and my grill lookin gash guys

    just get a dimma grill off e bay mate you can pick them up for about 35 pond

    how is the fit on those and can u open bonnet as normal without modifying catch

    Its very easy to fit, used the same screw holes as the standard grill. As youll see in the pic, there are two slots where you can put your fingers in to get at the bonnet catch.

    yea this is the same as mine but av sprayed mine mate looks good

    The "pointy things" are called chevrons, the come out easily, remove the grill by removing the torx screws and then they will pop out
