   Got any puddles in the car?
   
   Heater in a saxo is through a heater matrix which the hot coolant runs through the more you push the temp control into the red. Either the valve isnt opening allowing the coolant into the matrix, or your matrix is Fubar.
   
   New matrix isn't much, the problem is the entire dash has to come out to replace it.

   heater matrix sounds blocked!! or may have air lock.....

   Have you checked the fuses under the dash?

   if theres a rushing water or bubbling noise when you start the car its got an air lock in the cooling system.
   
   Chances are thats what it'll be, common saxo problem!

   and if its the blower motor not blowing its probably the resistor pack on top of the blower moter. not had to change really.
   
   and also, taking the dash out isn't as difficult as it seems!

    do you mean no heater spinning at all ie dead when turning heater knob could be fuse could be matrix or switch has failed

    First it would be useful to know if it is the fan not working or is it that the fan IS working but you can not get hot air from vents?
