silly question

   i'm thinking of glossing my side bump strips on my vtr, do i have to remove the side skirts to release the panels on the doors, probs a really silly question but i dont want to rip it off then discover i've f****d it up

   The side skirts dont touch the door skins at all so there shouldnt be a problem. They are held on with clips so they should rip off.

   why not just mask the outer part and leave them on the car then spray them
