   are these wheels safe too rub down with sandpaper or not as there alloy wheels ?
   
   will it mark the surface ?

   are you refurbing them? rubbing anything down with sandpaper will mark the object. the finer the grade of paper the finer the marks

   thats what i was thinking of doing mate but just wanted too make sure as i dont want too damage the wheel

   then yea wet n dry, i used orbital with 120gt paper to remove all crap then 240gt to clean up a lil more then 400 then to 1200gt wet n dry came out smooth as a babys arse

   if your doing it by hand be at it more than a day. and you'll regret starting them. did mine over 4 months ago and still haven't done the spare to match, just can't face it again

   last time i attacked my vtr wheels with nitromours and a wire brush aha fucked them right up lol so i wanta do it properly now
