so ye lower about 40 mill make it stiffer and reduce body roll.

  2. #2
Dont know what your budget is..

    Spax PSX kit
    or
    BilsteinB8s with 155lb faulkners

    then engine mounts, bushes
  3. #3
    Whats your question?
  4. #4
bilstein group n's, faulker 220lb springs 21mm torsion vars. poly bushes for the rear beam, front wishbones, solid rear mounts for the wishbones solid top mounts, and a lower strut brace.
    or an apex/spax kit.
  5. #5
I'd start with a strut brace - upper and lower,

replace the bushes and engine mounts then look at the suspension.

Then you get the best shocks and springs you can afford.
  6. #6
i meant just stiffen and lower the suspension
  7. #7
budget of 100-200 lower harder/stiffer ride

love the fact thats all you care about

Yes to both questions. These kits lower the car and the springs give a firmer ride.

(im not a handling mastermind lol just encase i say something stupid)

If i'm not mistaken have a lower firmer setup increases cornering speed and makes it more aerodynamic on the straights?

If i'm talking shit let me know
  15. #15
It actually causes more drag, which decreases fuel consumption.

But, improves the cornering ability, braking feel, and how hard the ride is yet how much more stable it is.

Just get the Apex kit, good value for money kit that as yet i personally haven't heard one bad thing about unlike the spax
  17. #17
Honestly, the apex dampers are SRSly firm.

    http://www.kamracing.co.uk/index.php...saxo-50mm.html

Thats the one. You wont be disappointed with that.

I says upto 50mm but thats taking into account the heavier Saxo's. It should be about 40mm on your 1.1

Also noticed that you're in Birmingham somewhere too. If you need anyone to fit suspension and do your torsion bars im only in Nuneaton (J3 of the M6) so not far away
