Job done! Snake eyes fitted, few pic's if interested!

   Hey guys, Got my new black snake eyes this morning But came to fitting them before and the bulbs from the lexus lights I did have.. Wont hold in the snake eyes?
   
   And now I'm confused... Does this mean I need new bulb holders or something? Or can I just get freaky with some electritions tape?
   
   Also can I just double check which bulb goes where?
   
   
   
   The brake light goes on the bottom right?
   The Fog light is bottom left?
   The reverse bulb top right?
   The indicator top left?

   i'd swap the locations of your reverse and indicator bulbs personally
   
   The reverse bulb top left?
   The indicator top right?
   
   never seen them before, could you post up a pic of where the bulbs go? ie a pic from the back?

   Thats what I was thinking but I would have thought the larger reverse light was better?

   You can see the problem really, theres fittings for the bulb holders to trwist and lock into but not on the snake eye

   Did you car have standard light when you bought it? cause on my standard lights the whole circuit board with the bulb holders on jus fixes in to the back of the lens you dont need to push and twist if you get what i mean...

   I'd personally say having a brighter (bigger reflector) indicator was more important than a bright reverse light. When your reversing your looking behind you and moving reasonably slowly whereas if somebody doesnt see your indicator then we all know what happens

   It didn't have the standard lights on it, but I do have them. I'm guessing you mean put this:
   
   Into the back of the snake eyes? If so it doesnt fit!
   
   
   These grey bits are the issue:
   
   
   They sufficiently cover the holes and sit flush but just dont hold... So either I stick some electritions tape around them and job done or what do I need?

   Yeah that makes sense. I'll go for that one, it will look more "In place" too if that makes any sense - Having the indicator on the outside of the light
   
   I Noticed those holes, I thought they were for circulation so they didnt condence or anything haha!

   Well, a bit of a bodge later and the're fitted! Just used electritions tape to secure them. At least that way the're sealed and held in place

    Same here mate, All lexus lights in chrome I hate. But smoked look the biz'
    
    It's a shame the previous owner decided to blacken the lense on the lexus lights that were on the car, as they were already black nevermind, prefer the look of the snake eyes

    they sould just clip in mate the fixings are in the light to use the standard citroen board

    I'm always put off when I hear the word lexus and "lights" in the same sentence, but smoked there not bad at all. These really supprised me actually at how well they've gone with the car!
    
    Don't see too many black Snake Eyes around either, majority seem to me MK1/2 or jewels!

    I didn't realise new lights come with the circuit board or anything. The other set of lights I took off the car had attachment things so you can just push in and twist the bulb to hold it in place.
    Would have imagined the snake eye's would have something similar but apparently not!

    Cheers, yeah thats the one. he was meant to be changing the plate but apparently not as ive had it for a good few weeks now haha.
    Do I or any of the lads know you that drive a Gold vtr/black vtr/black corsa C?

    Ahh right, Can't say I've seen your car either! I think i know two of them, dan turnbull and ali brewis? I know them but not mates with them, a friend of mine who owns the gold VTR is pally with them though if thats who you mean? Dan's corsa is smart mind and i'm not a fan of them really (I hope i'm aloud to say that on here )
