   I have bought a set of rear lights that look similar to Lexus ones, the lad i bought them off said they were Jewels, relieved them today, and they are most definitely not jewels. Cant afford to chuck these out so i want to make the most of them.. so how can i make these look half decent, open to opinions.

   Tinting spray from ebay dude, ive got blue one spare but would of thought you want black.

   Yeah mate, just tinting spray? no need to sand it down or lacquer or anything?

   put a pic up of them.
   and no titn spray u just spray on light coats to build up to the darkness you want

   have you not got your origonal ones to put back on? if not the cheapest way is a set of tights wrapped round them nice some of your lasses. very old trick!

    To get the front of the lights off i will need to melt the glue, and to do that i will need to put them in the oven for about 15 mins, and we have just bought a new oven and cost alot of money, so i have just sprayed the front of them black, waiting to see what they come out like, and will then take a few piccies and post them on here

    can all the lights still bee seen through the paint? nyou might get pulled by el plodo they might deam them too dark being the wanks they are

    dont know tbh but you could get both maybe, i mean you can get points for tints but i dnt think they go that far for lights lol

    my mate got pulled for his light.... looks about the same ammount of tint! he got fine and make him remove them and show it to the poilce within the 7 days.... Just watch out bud... If you want smoked light might aswell save up for some Smoked jewels!

    mayaswell have them on until you get stopped, if you dont get stopped much in your area. i know some people who drive with lights tha dark and never get stopped

    The lights look fine in the pics, if you get caught they will probably just give you a non endorsable £30 fixed penalty fine. No big deal if you got the csh.

    the only reason you'll get nicked on them is because you have no reflectors showing,
    drive down the road at night and you'll know all vehicle rear lights have an area that reflects your headlights,
    it's a legal requirement that it's there even a tiny one.
    worst you'll get is a thirty quid fine, and told to change them.

    You could figure out where the reflector is and then strip the paint off like the corsa lads do, would look a bit strange but might stop up getting a fine and just told to take them off??
