indicater ticking...

When ever I indicate it makes the noise as normal but the ticking continues even after i've turned the corner???
Anyone got any ideas?! It's windin me up somethin rotten!

I'm guessing the indicator lights are still flashing?

So it would be the self canceling mechanism not working right.
If you take the airbag off the steering wheel you should be able to see it.
Should be easy enough to get a replacement from a scrapyard

well, i've checked all the bulbs n there not on... the tickings coming from the fuse box under the glove box?
  4. #4
its the relay iirc mate, same happened to mine. cant remember which one but if you look under the glove box there should be a light blue and a grey box near the fuses

    That's strange.
The ticking is the relay... so you'd assume if it was ticking the lights were flashing.

You could look at replacing the indicator relay.
They cost about £40 for Citroen mind..

the relay cost me 20 pounds from citroen as this happened to me, still does it now so going to replace the indicator stalk now to resolve this.

Common fault on saxos / 106s

And it's quite often humidity in the stalk. Give it a few minutes of the old hair drier trick in there and see if it sorts itself out.

Heat up the stalk gently for a few minutes, so the (eventual) moisture goes away. Happened to every 106 I have seen and a couple saxos. It genrally solves the problem. If it does it again, check for water leaking inside.
