MOT Failure

   Front Exhaust has a major leak of exhaust gases [7.1.2a]
   
   Exhaust emissions Lambda reading after 2nd fast idle outside specified limits [1.2.4a]
   
   
   
   Fuck my life.
   
   The bloke wants £450ish for parts and labour (as well as a few other bits).
   
   Anyone point me towards a cheaper approved CAT for my 1.1 Mrk2 Desire that's cheaper than £180 - and the Oxygen sensors as well as he wants £73.90 for them.

   i got a front pipe for 2000 vtr for 75 quid frm local parts shop.easy to fit, just need a long reach socket set.they mite charge u extra for the pipe but, if u take your old front pipe in when done, they give u money back.i think its a recycling service or summit

   Found a CAT on ebay for £60, along with a sensor for about the same - and I'll fit both myself
