vtr inlet on 1.1

   work out if your 1.1 is a Single point injection or multi point injection (if they even did a 1.1 mpi)
   
   if it's a single point injection forget the idea

   With respect if you need help finding that out don't even consider fitting a different inlet until you get a bit more experience. But so you know look at the top engine nearer the back than the front. Single point will have what looks like a circular carburettor sat on the manifold. Multi point has four injectors in the manifold - you will see the wiring going to each injector.
   
   To be honest you would not gain any power in the real world. If you want speed look to make car lighter is best bet

   Just keep your 1.1 inlet - it's fine.
   
   Engine looks to be multi point injection btw

   if you fit one will need one off a later 98bhp vtr difference will be little but pulls a bit better thats about it

    I've got the same battery, there's no problem with it !!
    
    If I was you I'd hold off doing anything too serious to the engine as it'll only take away from its driveability

    watch out u dont want it taking in too much air as ur injectors probs wont keep up and ur fuel air ratio will be messed up could mess ur engine temp up and bogg aswell ,could cause ur car a few more problems id leave it tbh if u want more air wack a filter on it

    i got a k&n on it at the min but i want something like a ram air like viper or something but really cant afford £200 on a air filter

    set up a cold air feed on it
    tht will force air in mate

    got one on them aswell. was goin to get a ram air then have it from the fog light or something
