Tips on removing gearbox

    Im going to be changing my gearbox soon and wanted to know if there were any hidden problems i should know about.
    I wouldnt want to spend 14 hours working on changing a gearbox due to stupid citroen designs flaws like my water pump which had to be taken out in bits...

    Just have a pair of extra hands to support the gearbox. Its really straight forward actually and no special tools required. Re-aligning the new one can be tricky. The best way is one person underneath manouvering the gearbox on a trolley jack and supporting the extra weight whilst the other person makes the fine adjustments and navigates the gearbox on to the locating points.
