Overheating

    Right, car fan doesnt kick in when the temp gets high.

    Citroen quoted £126 + VAT!!!

    Got one at the scrappy for a tenner. Put it in, didnt work, went back and changed it for another, that didnt work either.

    Any ideas on what it could be?

    Depends on the set up of the fan, things it could be are:-
    1) Fan relay (Twin speed).
    2) Engine cooling fan switch.
    3) Engine cooling fan resistor (Twin speed).
    4) Fuse.
    You can test the fan for serviceability be applying a 12V source across the connections of the fan.
