I recently put some VTS clocks in to my car. I have a VTS engine and 3-plug loom which matches. I was running my old VTR clocks previously without any problems.
With the new VTS clocks in, the temp guage doesn't seem to work properly, when I turn the car on when it's cold the temperature sits half way then drops down to nothing, and the oil temperature gauge is always sat at zero.
Is the oil temp guage sensor plugged in to the bottom of the oil sump or else where? And what would be causing my temp guage to be doing this?
Oh and car is mk2 and clocks are digital.
