Important! : Engine trouble!

   Got my vtr a few weeks ago and had a couple of problems with the engine
   
   on random occasions i turn it on and the engine management warning light is on, then 50 metres down the road the car starts jumping when applying power
   
   anyone got any ideas?
   
   new to saxperience and this whole game so keep it simple if you can!

   if its jumping at odd occassions I'd put my money on the electrics or ecu. can sometimes be a dodgy connection or broken sensor.
