My car could pass itself off as a pond!

Took all the seats out today to give the car a good clean.
when i got the seats out i put my foot down towards the slit in the carpet (where the airbag wires come through) and i got a splash in my face!

now, i've had damp cars before but once i took the carpets out the car was literally 1" deep in water. I also found it amusing that citroen fitted drainage plugs in the floor for such an occasion! I took these out and the water soon went away. So for now the car is stripped out and fookin loud. i'm guessing the water came through the dodgy sunroof and settled under the carpet.
The soundproofing couldn't be saved unfortunatley

Should have got rid of the damp smell at least,

anyone else had it this bad?

Had it in my old 106, luckily by that point I had decided it would take a trip to the scrappies so didnt really care. When I was stripping it I took off the sunvisor and water started to pour out the roof, its was a non sunroof model too!
