fuel pump cut out .

   hi there im being a bit thick ,,,but is there a fuel pump cut ot anywhere other than the red unit on nearside front strut on my vtr 1999 .my car key light is flashing an i have not noise as system pressurises ...thanks

   Not that i know of. Could be an electrical problem. You should check the pump electrical feed with a multimeter. I'm guessing that the fuel is not being pumped right? and the car is not starting? If it is getting current then it's a knackered pump

   fuel cutt off would not make light flash unfortunately it sound like your key (or most likely the opick up ring onthe ignition barrel) is deaded. Try new pick up ring from scrappers

   tried that new pick ring still no joy ......key light still flashing ... arghhhhh some help me please

   Try disconnecting the battery for a while(reset ecu).
