    Resistor needed to stop air bag light flashing from aftermarket steering wheel

    i just put electrical tape over back of the airbag light picture.

    2ohm resistor from Maplin - probably about 10p. Bend / trim the legs so you can push it down into the orange airbag connector. Insulation tape/ heatshrink it in place. Jobs a goodun.

    unplug the airbag ecu ash if not mapline grab a handful of resistor and try them all when i measued my airbag resitance it show 2 ohms, but i ended up unplugging the ecu mate

    EDIT: i am being very slow recently lol

    i used 1.6ohm for when i changed my seats, can get them from electrical stores or maplin.co.uk for like 30 pence each

    so, i just ask for 1.6ohms? or in steering wheel case, 2ohms?

    no particular size or anything?

    Nah, just tell them at the desk you want a 2ohm (or as close to that as you can get) resistor and they'll get what you need.

    Pretty sure this is them - http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=341668.

    Can't see a 2ohm, but could try a 1.8 and 2.2 - one of them will work.
