how to remove service symbol on dash (spanner)

   the spanner symbol has just shown on my dash which is a little annoying as i do all the servicing on my car myself as its so much cheaper can anyone please tell me how to turn this off?

   I dont have the manual with the car which it tells you how to do this in there

   With the ignition off, hold the trip meter (the '000.0' button) in. Turn the ignition into the electric position. You will see a countdown go from 10 down to 0. When the counter hits zero, release the button. You then get a ==0== message. Now turn the engine on. That's it.

   as above mate its the left one as you look at it just in csae didnt know mate
