#13Mosr probably your gearbox, got the same issue with my vtr i just got taking it in garage to be stripped for full diag on tuesday.Quote:Hi guys LH,RH driveshaft has been replaced but still have knocking noises when car de accelerate or its in neutral

my rattling noise is in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear and nuetral + when accelerating or de accelerating in those gears.
been to 2 locals and they rekon on gearbox probably dropped inside. (shagged box to be to the point )
let you know what happens. -
#15Got the problem, the noise you explained was the same as mine (from description) and it was the gearbox even though it did the noise in nuetral...Quote:so far its pointing at the bearing/clutch area. in garage being stripped atm.
sorted now (: new gearbox for me.
hope this helps.
