Windscreen chip

   I have a small chip in my windscreen, its about the size of 5p piece (tried to get pic put so small camera wouldnt pick it up). I was wondering if anyone would have a rough idea of cost if i called out autoglass to fill it??? I dont have it covered on my insurance, is around the £60 mark a good rough price or will i pay stupidly more?

   I Looked at a few quotes before and they were all around the same price tbf.

   is it in an area where it'd fail the mot? if not i wouldn't fork out personally had a chip the size of a 5p on the passenger side of my front windscreen for over a year lol.

   i got a brand new screen for 80 autoglass are not the cheapist around

   might aswell get a new screen £90 tops.

   New screen eh? ill have a look around then, screen itself is fine but the chip is located in the middle of the screen above the stereo and around half way up so im sensing this is deff an mot failer
