Brake upgrade

   Is it possible to upgrade the front brakes on my 1.4i Mk1? Just by bolting on different calipers? Mine is the model with the Bendix brakes but the Girling are better. If from a different model wud you have to get bigger disks as well?

   discs are all the same size on saxos mate. on the vtr/s they are vented not solid.

   But you dont know if vtr/vts calipers are interchangeable?

   All 4 stud brake calipers for the saxo's are interchangeable

   as above they are all the same you carnt use 1.1 calipers with vtr/vts discs as there bigger so will need calipers and discs and pads iv recently upgraded my discs

   Wot about swapping Bendix for Girlings in same year? I did it once on an R5, but sometimes the bolt holes dont line up. BTW does anyone have any spare? vts or gilring?

   Should vtr callipers fit on 1.1 3 stud struts with a 4 stud hub upgraded?
