Changing Petrol Cap

   Need to change my petrol cap from the stupid citroen sport one back to standard, and having read the guide with no pictures, just have a question.
   
   Having removed the key from the lock, and to get the lock out of the cap, what's the best way to do this, it says
   
   'take your knife and insert it betwen the lock mec and the plastic cover'
   
   Is this from the outside, where you put key in, or from the inside?
   
   And tips appreciated so i don't break the stupid thing

   from the inside im guessingif your taking the cap cover off they just pull away from the locking part

   Thing is the citroen sport one has loads of tabs, attaching it, rather than a singular plastic rim, which makes it more difficult....

   see where the rubber seal is on the pic i put up stick a knife between it and the cap and prise it off gently

   Just done it, bit of brute force and it was off, looks much better now
