HID question..

    Just installed my HID 8000K.. and it looks like the driver side is brighter and a different colour.. more blue than the passenger side??

    This because its only the driver side adapter thats used to it recieves all the power 1st?

    not at all, check the bulbs, for wattage and voltage, you may have a different one?

    Are you sure the bulbs are rated the same?

    They should be the same though it was a brand new pack from a group buy on here..

    :/ i will check the labels on them again coz i noticed one said 8000k on the wire.. will check the other when i can..

    do the H4 bulbs only fit into the holders 1 way?? beacause these have a metal bit on and could it be that its in a different way???

    i got the same mate!!!!

    drivers side is higher, and it looks bluer/purpler!!

    not sure why both my bulbs are in the same way up as well

    do you find the full beam useless?

    Main beam is better than full beam tbh on these.. it just raises the light but isnt as bright...

    Passenger side seems alot more brighter and Blue and the passenger is more whitee like a 6000k but isnt as bright as a 6000k.. coz they are brighter than 8000k..

    Ive messed about with the adjusters and got it sort of okay but when i look from the outside of the car it annoys me that it looks as if ive got 2 different bulbs in.

    They look lush though but just little things like this really annoy me lol

    yeahh i get you, and i have a weird purple sqaure on my drivers side lense when they are on. which is the adjuster on the headlights? cos im worried its dazzling oncoming traffic and will dazzle police if they drive past me and they may pull me

    Yeah mate i have same problem.. when im driving about and i see police.. i drop the lights to the floor asap lol

    did it last night, i lit up a police car from at least 150 meters away lol so dropped them to the floor haha

    can you get replacement bulbs for these? just the bulb and the wire going to the ballasts?

    Is it the bulb that is the 8000k etc.. so could swap to a 6000k or what ever?

    Or is it the ballast it'self which is the 8000k, 6000k etc?

    You can buy replacement bulbs but they aint cheap.
