A spanner has just come on my dash next to my clock, what does that mean?

People saying its due for a service.. My friend services my car for me..as I dont trust garages doing it for me. If so how do I get it off,

It means its due a service.

What mileage is your car on out of interest?

It wont fail a MOT because of the spanner, its really nothing to worry about.

Its the service sign mate.... Turn your key once I think.. then hold the left trip thing down for about 5-10seconds then let go then start your car up!

Its either that or something very similar!

Could do with a cambelt change if it hasn't been done mate.

They re-set to 12k so if it was done 10k ago thats why its on, its a reminder thats all. As above just hold down the button on the right side and turn ignition on and it will count down from 10 to 0 then leave go of the button and bingo, all re-set!!
