really stiff steering

   hi guys
   
   
   drove to coventry this afternoon
   left my vtr in a car park
   went for a shop
   came back, turned the car on
   steering has been really stiff since
   
   
   can anyone help ?

   is their fluid in there first check for leaks split pipe

   havent checked to be honest
   
   ill have a peak when i can get my car on the flat

   check first if not cud be pump packed up

   check to see if your blower and heated rear window are working, if there not, its a common fault and theres a simple guide on here to sorting it

   if the heater and jive works hit pump with something while someone works the steering worked for me

   check fuse in engine bay hasn't blown. Look around the pump for signs of any splits/leaks or wires disconnected.

   blower wasnt working when i was out earlier actually, nothing was coming through
   have yet to check the fluid though
   checked the price of a new pump though :O

   my mate on his 1.1 has electic pas, his didnt work and so didnt his heaters, turned out to be a fuse,

    There is a guide on here something, search for it.
    
    Its simply unplugging a plug in the ignition barrel and wiring it back onto itself. It worked for me

    mine did this luckly it was just the fuse check in the manual wot fuse does wot and hope its that as its the cheapest option
