K&N airfilter //Standard

Can I just enclose my K&N inside the standard air box because I decided I want to go back to standard but Don't wanna remove the K&N...
This is because I'm worried about next years insurance due to the air filter (will i need to claim to next years insurance if its sealed in a box)

a air filter shouldn't really do anything to your insurance as it aint much of a big performance or modification. your best bet will be to sell the k&n and get the panel filter k&n instead if your bothered about your insurance cause then its just a panel filter that no one can see.

k and n panel filter will be as good or even better than the crappy cone you have on already.

if its only a panel filter im sure they wont bat an eyelid its not like its a huge diff. I have one... the cops wouldnt notice if u had it anyways becuase it only makes a noise when u put ur foot flat, tbh its hard to make it produce noise thats worth it.
