Had a problem out a month ago where the handbrake light was flashing, but after topping up the brakefluid it stopped. Now its started to flash again, what could it be?

#2It could be loose mate as you driving its wobling about causing the light to pop on have you try see if its loose?
-
#3You mean handbrake being loose? i always push it to the floor when it flashes, but it still flashes. Silly question, but could handbrake turns cause this?

#4check the handbreak release button. it's just under handbreak (little black button) mine did this when i released my handbreak the button should sit inside the handbreak but mine wasn't inline and was catching the side. so when i was driving it would flash because the hand break was moving up and down and pressing the button.

#5Tighten the 2 handbrake bolts. On mine it was loose and ausing it to be out of line so the switch couldnt operate properly. To test it just push the switch with your finger and if it goes out this will be the problem. But more than likely will be loose handbrake bolts.

#6The release button is in line in just had a check

#7so are your handbrake bolts tight?
-
#8Where are these bolts? I'm concerned it might be due to me doing handbrake turns last week, only a couple but it happened to flash the next day, although not as constant as it is now!

#9Have you checked fluid again? If you had to top it up before it suggests a leak. (usually in the rear brake drums). Otherwise above suggestions with handbrake not actually touching the switch sound plausbale
