Exterior door panel stickers

   Do you guys have black stickers on the edge of the door frames next to the back window? i'll try and find a pic. Was wondering if its normal, why they are there and can they be removed, if so how?

   yeah there normal there not to hard to remove just take your time and dont use anythin abrasive obviously

   Do you mean the black stickers on the door pillars? Like these?
   
   
   IIRC the VT models come with them. Just heat them up with a hair dryer and ease them off if you dont like them

   As said, open the window and heat the strip up with a hair dryer and it will peel off in one

   I removed the black strip off of my VTR also, looks alot nicer.
   
   Basically takes a while but with time and effort it will come;
   
   Use a hairdryer and heat it up then slowly peel it off in 1 piece preferrably. Use a tar-remover or stickystuff remover to remove the left-over glue afterwards left on your paintwork.
   
   
   ALTHOUGH.. after taking mine off i seem to be getting an electric shock EVERYTIME i get out of my car and close the door lol, not sure if it's anything to do with this but it's a shock that i KNOW is coming everytime i close my door lol, kind of annoying but i'm living with it.

   Cheers for help guys, i still have no idea what they are for but mine have a few snags in them so i'll take them off this weekend with the old hairdryer i think.

   funnily enough i took mine off today. mine were peeling off and looked disguting.

   i took mine off to as they were peeling off. just heat them up and peel them off looks better once there off.

   I'm taking mine off tomoz, got new ones as mine are all crinkled and horrible so thanks for the info guys

    I removed mine to, easy enough. I didn't even have to heat them up they just came straight off but don't let them break as soon as they snap they will only come off a bit at a time, I found this out on my mates Quiksilver

    Where can ya get the 'Saxo VTR' stickers from, are they stickers or are they part of the black strip? I like and i want!!! haha
    
    Mine has the black strip but it dont say Saxo VTR on them

    on black cars it looks good without them. with other colours i think they look better on

    I expect they are citroen only parts.
    Was a common thing on cars of the era when they came out
    306, 106, saxo and some fords i know of had them on.
    Idea was it made the glass areas blend in to one item which was supposd to give a smoother line.

    Go to a vinyl wrapping company. They made me some up for £10, quite thin but they do the job.
