What are the loudest ones out there?
would i be better going for just an air filter or an induction kit?
More power would be nice but i am looking for a loud nice sound.
What am i best going for?

How do you know there loud?
    From experience?
You used one or had one on your car before?

Used them apart from the K&N Gen2. I know some poeple who have the Gen2's and theyre pretty good.

Raceland and be loud and give ok power gains as it wont suffer from heat soak as much as an open filter. The 57i with a good cold air feed also gives decent gains. Have a look on Rallye Register, they did some tests on the 57i which gave good results.

Open airfilters are the loudest, look at cone filters or a piper x foam

If anything you will be loosing performance with these due to heat soak

I've got a Piper X foam induction kit, it's one of the loudest i've heard in a while, really kicks in when you put your foot down although to get the best sound u use the most petrol.

The metal/plasticy cone filters are pretty quiet compared.

    Just my opinion

How much do they cost roughly?
So out of them, which would you go for if your looking at loud sound and good power gains?
    Cheers

Value for money a Green Filtered Raceland. Kam Racing Sell them. They give a grunt and a decent power gain for an induction kit. Though its poorley designed so isnt the best fit and sometimes needs abit of hacking.

Open up your budget and get a Gen2 K&N, they have a cold airfeed and heatshield. Fits very well and looks proffesional. Its a good filter so only common sens eit will be even better with a good cold air feed.

I have seen the same ones used very commonly on Fiat Ciqucentos / Seicentos lol

And pipercross open foam fiters are probably the loudest
